We want you to love your Cottonclaas pieces. If something is not right, you can return most items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. This policy explains what is eligible, how to initiate a return, and when to expect your refund.
1. Return Window
Returns are accepted within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery, as recorded by our logistics partner. The 7-day window is calculated inclusively. Items received after the 7-day window will not be accepted.
2. Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- Unworn, unwashed, and unaltered.
- In their original condition with all original tags and labels attached.
- Returned in the original Cottonclaas packaging (or equivalent protective packaging).
- Accompanied by the original invoice, return form, and any accompanying accessories or free gifts.
We reserve the right to reject returns that show signs of wear, damage, or use. In such cases, the item will be returned to you at your cost.
3. Non-Returnable Items
- Items marked “Final Sale” or sold during clearance events.
- Intimates, loungewear bottoms, and swimwear (for hygiene reasons).
- Customised, monogrammed, or made-to-order pieces.
- Free gifts, samples, and promotional items accompanying a qualifying order.
- Items returned after the 7-day window.
4. How to Initiate a Return
- Log in to your account and go to My Orders. Click “Request Return” next to the relevant order.
- Select the item(s), reason, and whether you would like a refund or exchange.
- We will email you a prepaid return label and a one-time authorisation code within 24 hours. Pack the item securely and hand it over to the carrier within 3 days of receiving the label.
- Once we receive and inspect the return, we will notify you of approval or rejection.
5. Refund Methods & Timelines
Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 7 business days of inspection. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 2–5 business days for the credit to appear in your statement.
- Prepaid orders: refund to the original card / UPI ID / wallet.
- Cash on Delivery: refund via NEFT/RTGS to a verified Indian bank account. We will request your account details by email.
Shipping charges are non-refundable except in cases of damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped items.
6. Exchanges
We offer free size exchanges on full-price items subject to availability. To exchange, initiate a return for the original item and place a new order for the desired size. We will expedite the exchange shipment at no additional shipping cost.
7. Damaged or Defective Items
Despite our careful packaging, if your item arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the damage. We will arrange one of the following at your option:
- A free replacement of the same item (subject to stock).
- A full refund including original shipping charges.
- Store credit of equal value for use on the Platform.
These remedies are in addition to and not in lieu of any statutory rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
8. Order Cancellation
You may cancel an order up to 2 hours after placement, or until the order is processed, whichever is earlier. To cancel, write to [email protected] with your order number. Once an order is processed or dispatched, our standard return policy applies.
